Whether you’re new to church, you’ve recently moved to the area, or you’re just looking for a new church home, we think you’ll find our congregation to be warm, friendly, and welcoming. Directions
From the south on Preston Hwy: Eastern Gate is about 4 miles north of Shepherdsville on Hwy 61. Turn right onto Lodie Drive (Old Preston Hwy). The church is on the hill on the left; you may use either of three entrances. (If you miss the first right, any of the next 3-4 streets on the right will take you over to the old road. Just make a right onto Lodie Drive (Old Preston Hwy) to backtrack to the church on the right.)
From the north on Preston Hwy: Eastern Gate is about 6.5 miles south of the Gene Snyder (I-265). If you take Exit 121 (John Harper Hwy 1526), go east. Preston Highway is at the 2nd stop light. Turn right onto Preston Highway. Take any of the next 5 streets on the left to go over to Lodie Drive (Old Preston Hwy). Turn right onto Lodie Drive. The church is on the hill on the right; you may use either of three entrances.
Parking
Guest parking is available between the church and the Family Life Center. There are two entrances at the back of the church building (the one with the steeple).
Nursery
The Eastern Gate Baptist Church Nursery and Toddler ministry (birth – 3 years) is committed to serving the needs of parents and families by providing their children a safe and Christ-like atmosphere that will ensure peace-of-mind during their time of worship.
Nursery care is available Sunday mornings during Sunday School and Worship; Sunday evenings during Discipleship Training and Worship; and Wednesday evening during Bible Study/Prayer Meeting. Just ask a church usher or any church member to escort you to the Nursery.
Mother’s Rooms
If you need to feed or attend to your baby, three rooms are located across from the nursery.
Children & Teens
Every Sunday morning we have Children’s Church which meets in the “Family Life Center” (FLC – the building adjacent to the main church building). Every Wednesday evening from 7 to 8:30 the children and teens have age appropriate activities, food, and a Bible lesson, also in the FLC. If you would like your child or teen to join, just ask a church usher or any church member to escort you to the appropriate location.
