What does God want for your life? Perfection. That seems impossible, but before dismissing the idea, listen as Bro. Jeff describes how God has provided what you need to reach that goal.
What does God want for your life? Perfection. That seems impossible, but before dismissing the idea, listen as Bro. Jeff describes how God has provided what you need to reach that goal.
God has provided all that we need to be the church in the last days. It should be priority in our lives, especially for the wisdom we gain. Bro. Jeff takes a look at Timothy’s background which was instrumental in his salvation; what can we learn from his experience?
In the last days, hearts will be hardened, minds will be corrupted…to the point that those affected will stand firm against truth. Paul warned Timothy; Bro. Jeff warns us. Do you believe the truth? Have you experienced real salvation? Or have you gotten caught up in shallow, empty religious expression?
Generally speaking, our society is focused on health and wealth. Should those be priority? Jesus said, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Tonight, Bro. Jeff helps us to self-evaluate our priorities and to focus on Christ.
“When you reject the truth of God, all that is left is vanity. When you reject the wisdom of God, all is left is foolishness. When you reject the light of God, all that is left is darkness. This process leads to God’s judgment.” God judges societies and nations who turn from Him. Bro. Jeff outlines the four-step planting process that leads to a harvest of destruction.
What should we remember, and why should we remember? The psalmist provides the answers and Bro. Jeff points us to the encouragement that comes from remembering God’s works in these troubled times.
Are you familiar with the children’s prayer, “God is great, God is good, let us thank Him…?” Bro. Jeff lists more good things of God to which we should hold fast. Let us thank Him for all our blessings, that we are able to share and give to others, and for His creation, perfectly made just for us.
After the fall, Adam and Eve had needs, both of which point to the need of a Savior. We learn more from Genesis 3 as Bro. Jeff explains.
After their disobedience, Adam and Eve hid in shame. But, our loving God came calling! Is God calling to you? Are you trying to hide, perhaps behind a religious rite? Since God is all-seeing, why did He ask where Adam and Eve were? God searches for us, and we hope that you will search your own heart as you listen to Bro. Jeff’s message.
Do you hear God speaking to your heart? Are you trying to hide from Him? How would you know? Adam and Eve’s response is similar to ours today when we are aware of His presence; Bro. Jeff explains.
