Pastor Jeff Anders continues Elijah — God’s Praying Prophet on Wednesday evening. After walking again through what happened when Elijah prayed and kept on praying, and after reminding the church of nine things that will not happen if God’s people quit, he adds three more. Number ten: there is direction that just won’t be there…
Previously, Bro. Jeff listed and explained important things to meditate upon. How do we remember them, and why is it important to remember? In tonight’s message, learn more about the refuge and revival we can have, if we won’t forget to remember.
The Great Commission… HIS authority, assignment, and assurance encouraged the early church to share the gospel. What about our generation? Who is going to share the Word, be a witness? Bro. Jeff renews our resolve to be about the Father’s business in this inspiring message.
The darkness of the world needs the Divine Light, our Savior. Believers, we have been called, just as the disciples were called, to take His light into the world still. Bro. Jeff sheds light on what that really means.
Have you known someone, perhaps yourself, that tried to change, but the change was really only outward, not a true, permanent, inward transformation? Bro. Jeff highlights the way to real change here.
How much do we really love God? Our praise of God reflects our love and adoration of Him. Bro. Jeff provides us a deeper understanding of what praise really is and how we can intentionally progress in praise as the early church did.
The early church, in the circumstances, character, and corruption of their giving, provides us much to consider with our own giving. How can we progress in giving like they did? Bro. Jeff provides insight in this message.
The Bible is replete with praise for “God-fearing” people. Why does God ask us to fear Him? With great clarity, Bro. Jeff answers that question and leads us through many Biblical examples of the progression that occurs when this deep, respectful, reverent awe is present.
Is God trying to grow you in your prayer life? Bro. Jeff provides seven practical principles to encourage a prayer life that will help us experience spiritual growth and receive the blessings of God that come only with making prayer priority.
Bro. Jeff continues to show how the early Christians are models to Christians today. Today’s focus is on how we can experience God’s presence and power in our lives and in our society. Learn more here.
