Previously, we learned about the continuous worship of the saints after the resurrection and ascension of Christ. Tonight, Bro. Jeff delves into more details about the situations surrounding their worship and encourages us to follow their example.
In this message, Bro. Jeff stresses the importance of testing our faith and experiences. Do they line up with God’s Word, or are they the product of false teaching?
“Sometimes we don’t enjoy God’s blessings because we haven’t yet stepped through the doors to blessing. If you want to be blessed, you’ve got to learn how to give.” Bro. Jeff encourages us in the blessings of giving.
Once we have gone through the door of salvation, God wants to bless us even more. Bro. Jeff continues to share here the blessings that come from stepping through the door of supplication and the blessings that come when we “stop playing and start praying.”
It is said that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, and having a mindset like Christ will avert division and disunity. Bro. Jeff encourages us in our spiritual growth by looking at the division that Paul exposed and the distinctives that Paul explained in Philippians 2.

The reason Christians can experience the comfort of God is because we have God the Holy Spirit living inside us. Previously, we were reminded of the firm foundation we have in Christ. Here, Bro. Jeff explains the “earnest of the Spirit,” and how we are anointed and sealed – once we have true salvation, we are secured forever.
We must guard our integrity if we want to be of influence to others. Bro. Jeff highlights six ways in which Joseph is a model of integrity and points out what we can learn from his example.
