There is bad fear and good fear. The right kind of fear is motivating. The Bible tells us many times to “fear God,” but what exactly does that mean? Bro. Jeff clarifies and outlines reasons why we should fear God.
1 Peter 2:17 (KJV)
17 Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king.
25 The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the Lord shall be safe.
6 Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.

7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

25 For great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised: he also is to be feared above all gods.
