Blessed be the LORD ~Psalm 28:6

The Master’s Men, Part 7

Have you lost your marvels?  The disciples found theirs on a stormy night on the Sea of Galilee.  Jesus led them right into a terrible storm; Bro. Jeff encourages us with several great lessons to reassure us in the “storms” of our own lives.

John 13:13 (KJV)

13 Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am.

Matthew 8:23-27

23 And when he was entered into a ship, his disciples followed him.

24 And, behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves: but he was asleep.

25 And his disciples came to him, and awoke him, saying, Lord, save us: we perish.

26 And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.

27 But the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him!

Hebrews 4:15-16

15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
