“Praying is not a side issue; it is a central issue.”  When Paul and Barnabas returned to the cities to visit believers, they prayed and fasted.  Why is praying so important?  Why is fasting so important?  What are we missing out on when we don’t do these things?  Bro. Jeff exhorts us to evaluate our priorities and provides Biblical answers to these questions.

Acts 14:23 KJV

23 And when they had ordained them elders in every church, and had prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord, on whom they believed.

Ephesians 6:18

18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

Philippians 4:6

6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

Psalm 145:18

18 The LORD [is] nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.

Jeremiah 29:12-13

12 Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. 13 And ye shall seek me, and find [me], when ye shall search for me with all your heart.
