Gone From the Garden 2

The age old religious debate: how do we get atonement for our sins?  Abel and Cain each followed one of the same two paths humanity does today: God’s divine way and Satan’s deceptive “way.”  Bro. Jeff poses the all-important question, “Who or what are you trusting to save you from sin’s penalty?”  Deepen your understanding by listening in here.

The Testimony of Nicodemus 4

“I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.”  Jesus warned of the consequences of unbelief.  What does it mean to believe?  Bro. Jeff examines the failure of the church at Ephesus, he challenges us to self reflect.  Have you left your first love?

Welcome Home, Part 40

Do you believe?  James tells us that even the devils believe and tremble.  Satan knows the truth about God, Christ, and the Holy Spirit, but his is only a cognitive belief.  Saving faith is a heart and soul belief that trusts Christ’s finished work on the cross, one that surrenders to Him as Lord and Savior.   As Bro. Jeff summarizes, saving faith is not good works, not reformation, or religion; it is simply faith and trust in the person and work of Jesus Christ.
