If you’ve ever accidentally taken the wrong exit when traveling, then you understand the need to turn back and head the right direction.  That need is even more great when we are headed the wrong direction spiritually.  Bro. Jeff exhorts us to examine the way that we live and look for places in our lives in which we may be going the wrong way. 

Despise Not Prophesyings

Have you ever failed to fill up your vehicle’s gas tank because of other preferences – watching TV or a movie, doing a hobby, going to a game, or catching up on chores, for instance?  Not being able to go move ahead due to an empty gas tank isn’t a good situation to be in.  Now, reread the previous but replace “vehicle’s gas tank” with “spiritual gas tank.”  We are spiritually filled by the Word of God and neglect can have serious consequences, and we are encouraged by Bro. Jeff to realize the absolute essential that God’s revealed Word has in our lives.
