Today, Bro. Jeff looks at a sad example of a man who would not separate himself from wickedness and lost his livelihood and his blessings as a result. Through the door of separation is God’s blessings; we are encouraged to insulate ourselves from the ungodliness of our world.
We have the same question as the Israelites as they studied the Promised Land and their ability to enter. Do we base our actions and decisions on feelings or faith? Reason or revelation? “God is really, really big, and man is really, really small. God’s judgments are always right and just, and man is under His great authority.” Out of those two thoughts, Moses’ petition is a warning for the lost and a challenge of deeper reflection for believers of what God has for us to do.
